Security
indic.net takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect our customers' information both online and off-line. All information we collect from our customers are stored by us on secure computers housed within secure, professionally serviced facilities in Israel. When our customers submit personal information, that information is encrypted and is protected with leading encryption software - SSL (Secured Socket Layers) the web security standard created and approved by Thawte. While on a secure page, such as our subscription order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. To learn more about SSL click here. Moreover, indic.net employs an additional encryption method to protect highly sensitive data such as credit card numbers, so that even a physical break-in to the indic.net database would not compromise this data.
We are committed to continually seeking to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available. While we make every effort to ensure that your personal information is secure on our system, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
